Bake & Debug

Bake Simulation

Checkbox. When on, the simulation is "frozen" at its current state: no more live solving, just playback of cached frames. Turn on after you're happy with the look so scrubbing and rendering stays fast.

Clear Bake

Button. Click to wipe the cache and restart the simulation from frame 0. The playhead automatically jumps to frame 0 to kick off a clean re-compute, so you aren't waiting for the solver to catch up to whatever frame you happened to be parked on.

Debug View

Checkbox. Draws a compact info bar at the top of the output showing frame number, per-frame wall-clock render cost in milliseconds (FRAME:Xms), particle count, grid dimensions, output buffer size, obstacle layer info, and bake progress. Cells that are marked solid (inside the Collider) get tinted red. Reference: 33 ms per frame equals 30 fps; 50 ms equals 20 fps. Useful for diagnosing heavy scenes and verifying the Collider rasterisation looks right.
