Force Field

Master toggle for the Force Field group. Unchecked (default): no spatial force applied. Check to enable and unlock the settings below. Requires a Force Field Layer to define where the force acts.

Force Field on (layer assigned)

The AE layer that defines where the force applies. The layer's alpha = force strength at that point; the layer's brightness modulates strength further.

Strength at 1000%

Global multiplier on the force (0 to 1000, default 100).

Turbulence

How the force acts at each affected pixel: Attract (toward bright areas), Repel (away from bright), Directional (uniform push in a set direction within masked area), Turbulence (adds noise within masked area).

Force Direction

Directional mode, 180° (down)

Directional mode, 0° (up)

Angle of the push (default 180°). Only used in Directional mode.

Falloff

Falloff at 1 (tight edge)

Falloff at 50 (broad edge)

Distance over which the force dies off beyond the layer's masked area (1 to 50, default 10). Only used in Attract / Repel modes.
